Hello, I need advice regarding artifacts that will be curated in a small Alaskan village. The artifacts will not have a full time curator nor any security personnel. The storage units will need to be relatively "bullet-proof", as there has been a recent rash of theft in the village. I don't think that viewability is a concern at the moment, so these can be any type of locking cabinets, vaults, etc. Price is not of the utmost concern--security of the artifacts is. What do small museums use in situations like this? Which companies can I contact to inquire about storage units? All suggestions and opinions will be welcome. If possible, please reply off the list to me as well as the listserve, Thanks for your input, August Goodman [log in to unmask] ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
