We are developing a Vietnam War exhibit at the Arkansas State University Museum. We have an original Chinese RPG-7U (rocket propelled grenade launcher)that was brought home from Vietnam and donated several years ago. I would really like to acquire a de-activated,de-milled, or training example of the grenade and rocket booster this thing fired to include in our exhibit. If I am unable to find one, I am thinking of fabricating a "mock up" that would at least give someone an idea of what the round looked like. Of course any replica would be exhibited as such. While I have lots of material on the launcher itself, I have nothing except a few pictures of the projectile round and they are grainy shots from old Army intel/training pubs. Anyone have an old RPG round lying around in their military collection they no longer need? Any detailed photos, manual copies, or specifications would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks and regards to all.
