Drawing from popular films such as Stanley Kubrick's The Shining and more esoteric works including Kentucky filmmaker Andy Garrison's short films, Kenneth Anger's Kustom Kar Kommandos  and Gasper Noe's I Stand Alone, critic Felicia Feaster will discuss the language of film and how filmmakers use it to convey their artistic, thematic and political agendas.

Eyedrum hosts the two night meta-festival of the first ever road tour for the NYC arts collective Jump Arts, voted best arts collective by NY Press in 2000.  In conjunction with the Eyedrum this festival brings together for the first time NYC and Atlanta artists in a whirlwind of events featuring over 30 artists in 2 days of collaborative work.

Show feature music, dance,poetry and painting including artists: Daniel Carter, Tom Abbs, Steve Swell, Sabir Mateen, Gold Sparkle Band, Okkyung Lee, Steve Dalachinsky, a host of dancers from the NYC end of the spectrum. And from Atlanta we have the Deep South crew of The Flakes, Konx, Eric Hinds & SS Puft, Shakin Ray Levis, Charlie Parker.
