Ulrich is a historian dealing mostly with women's studies. Surprising that she said "Well behaved women never make history" since most of her focus is on well-behaved women, without whom a lot of history wouldn't be known. Check out Martha Ballard's Diary (for info and some very cool interactive stuff on the diary, as well as Ulrich, look at www.dohistory.org), and her new (and very interesting for collections-oriented people) book, Age of Homespun.
