When I made my statement on museums not being able to pay for distance education, I meant helping with expenses in some way. I don't expect for one to get a whole lot of money in this field, unless they get a job with the Smithsonian or the National Gallery of Art where you can find a few positions with $50,000-98,000 salary...oh, and I did check the living expenses in Washington D.C. ... it is still a good chunk of change.

A good example of what I meant in my last email is this: AAM having car rental discounts for their conferences (Annual Conference in Dallas). That is a great way to help with expenses.

Oh, for the record.....I love what I do in this field too, and I know that with superb creativity and innovation... I can earn good money too (it has happened before), not that it is that important.

Sincerely,

Merri C. Pemberton
