If you are getting paid or compensated in some way (like a stipend or room and board) you can't deduct it. But if you are essentially volunteering your time, you can deduct the expenses. And a good accountant is worth every penny. I got back over $300 more this year because I went to a tax preparer instead of doing it myself. I didn't know some of the laws and what I could deduct. Sure it cost me about $100 but that is deductable next year and I've found out much more than I can deduct for next year which will make an even bigger tax refund. Good record keeping is essential and it will add up over time. Deb __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
