MUSEUM EDUCATION COORDINATOR BEVERLY HISTORICAL SOCIETY Beverly Historical Society, a small but growing organization with three historic houses and important library and artifact collections related to the history of Beverly, Mass. and the North Shore, offers an exciting opportunity for a professional museum educator. Conduct already developed programs for 3rd and 5th grades in Beverly schools. Other duties may be to develop, market, implement, and evaluate innovative, interactive programs for a wide variety of audiences, including adults, families, children, and school groups; and to create exhibits with other staff. Currently 20 hours/week but could lead to full-time employment. Preference given to applicants with an MA or enrolled in a graduate program in American history, museum studies, public history, or related field. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, an interest in working with the public, and a creative flair.
