Dear list, I am interested in this topic as well and I think I missed the reply posts. I teach at a community college and we don't have a slide collection -- instructors have been responsible for the making, storage and maintenance of their slides for years -- I've inherited a disparate group of slides from the previous instructor. I have received funding to purchase cameras, copystands, etc. but our Learning and Resource Center is pushing for me to go digital. I think I am old-fashioned because I am resistant to this -- that wasn't the way I was taught! But seriously, is digital the way to go? The Library and Media folks also recommend Power Point presentations...but I am reluctant to inflict death by Power Point upon my students. Thanks!
