CONTACT MELINDA BY EMAIL AT: [log in to unmask] MEET MELINDA KAUFMAN! I am currently a student in Sotheby's American Arts course, and am applying for a Winterthur Fellowship in Early American Culture. I have a BA in English from Mount Holyoke College, and a certificate degree in accounting. My ultimate goal is to be an independent curator. I enjoy finding new ways to look at old things, whether from a social, political, historical, or technological aspect. I would love to write scholarly articles and/or books on various topics in American Material Culture, and I can't think of a better way to spend a day than in a library doing research. (My "normal" friends think I'm a bit odd in this respect...) I would like to find a mentor who has worked on exhibits that make people think, and is willing to share how they got to where they are. ===== Indigo Nights [log in to unmask] Looking for a job?
