Join us in the West for Descansando Para La Jornada: Resting for the Journey The Western Museums Association is pleased to invite all members of the museum community to its 2002 annual meeting, Descansando Para La Jornada: Resting for the Journey, September 11 – 15, 2002 in Tucson, Arizona. The conference theme is a metaphor for professional growth, restoration, and rejuvenation. Sessions address the challenge of museum professionals to renew and inspire themselves, as well as our visitors and to prepare for changes in professional careers, programs, and institutions. Conference programs will be sent to all WMA members in late April, 2002 and copies will be available at the WMA booth at the AAM conference in Dallas. Non-members who want to be added to the conference program mailing list should email [log in to unmask] or call (510) 238-9700, or check to website at www.westmuse.org.
