TYPE OF MENTOR SOUGHT: Someone who can help me segue from the for profit world to the museums field to put to good use the education in this arena for which I prepared, preferably someone in the Chicago area, though I am open in that regard CONTACT ERIN BY EMAIL AT: [log in to unmask] MEET ERIN HANAS! I'd love to find a mentor! I'm living in Chicago and working at a law office as a legal assistant because it was the only job I could find on short notice that would make me enough money to pay the bills. I have a BA from a small liberal arts college with majors in art and German. I did a short internship at a children's museum in Vienna, Austria, but mainly worked on translating for their website. I spent the past six months (June-December) working in Cape Cod, MA, for a glassblower. I decided that that isn't what I want to do with my life, so quit and moved back to the Midwest where I'm originally from. I really want to get into the museum loop, especially dealing with exhibits--installing, researching, designing. ===== Indigo Nights [log in to unmask] Looking for a job?
