TYPE OF MENTOR SOUGHT: Someone who works in am historic house or museum AND/OR Someone who works in a museum with a significant archaelogical collection AND/OR Someone who can teach me how to find museum jobs in the Northeastern US CONTACT DIANA BY EMAIL AT: [log in to unmask] MEET DIANA McFADDEN: I'm currently a college senior at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. I suffer from a career services office who doesn't know how to find museum jobs and have not many alumni connections in the museum professions, as well as being relatively locationally isolated. I've had a few summer jobs and internships in some smaller museums, but I'm looking for someone to help me learn what else is out there. I am a history major, and ideally seeking a job or internship in a historic house or museum. Any museum with a significant archaelogical collection would be nice as well. I'd like to be able to talk with someone who has experience in these types of museums would be great and who could offer me tips before I (eventually) head back to school in Museum studies and/or history. ===== Indigo Nights [log in to unmask] Looking for a job?
