We use state standards when we market our teachers workshops and tours - As an art museum it helps us to show where we "count."  It also enables techers to justify the tours.  We have made a practice of integrating language arts, history, math and often science into our tours.
We also post information about the National Arts Education Standards.

In our most recent educational publication - a curriculum for teachers - the number one suggestion from our teacher's steering committee was to clearly list all the ties with state standards on the front of each unit.  This was extremely time consuming and require reading cover to
cover all the state standards k-*.  But in the end I think it was well worth it.  I also wrote an introductory essay on the ties to QPA, State Standards and National Arts Standards. .
