The science museum (sorry, I can't remember the exact name) in Jacksonville, FL also used to do the overnight lock-ins for scout groups. Also, as a more involved lock-in concept, the Gateway Girl Scout Council and the Spanish Quarter Museum (a living history museum in St. Augustine, FL) have an annual weekend "lock-in" called the St. Augustine Encampment. A group of about thirty sixth grade girl scouts are selected to participate in this event. There are actually two weekends involved. The first is a training weekend to teach the girls the history the museum portrays (daily living in 1740s Spanish controlled St. Augustine). The second weekend the girls and their adult advisors set up camp (literally) in the museum and act as tour guides (complete with period clothing they make themselves) for the visitors. It's a great experience both for the girls and for the visitors. The last I heard it was actually the museum's busiest weekend of the year!
