Museum Education Roundtable Toronto! Like other MERTs across the US, we're a grass-roots organization committed to working together in order to further our careers as museum educators through networking, education sessions and professional journals. http://www.utoronto.ca/mouseia/mertjournal.html is considerably out of date but its still a useful resource for additional info. I am the current Treasurer so I'd be more than happy to provide more info to anyone from Toronto or the "Greater Toronto Area" who may like to join. Actually, I should add, we do have some members from as far as out as Edmonton -- I think they've joined mostly for access to the monthly MERT Journal but since, I believe, a primary purpose of the organization is to get together, meet and discuss, we are of benefit mostly to those within shared geography. =-) Cheers! - Milena Milena Placentile, Assistant Curator Justina M.
