From another "Mixed up Files" reader (it was a good book- I about read the cover off of it): Though I've never been there, the Met would be a nice place to hang out for a night. The National Air & Space Museum and National Museum of American History also get my votes. As far as munchies-I'm partial to popcorn or tortilla chips and Coca-Colas. On another thread-the Texas Association of Museums is a good group as is the Mountain-Plains Museum Association. For history people, AASLH is a great resource as is ALHFAM. Hope to see many of you at the AAM Annual Meeting in Dallas!
