We at the New Brunswick Musuem are reviewing our Loan Policy, and I wonder if I could ask for some input from the group. I have been hearing recently about "loan fees". We have never charged a fee for loans to other institutions. The borrowing institutions usually pay for shipping, crating, insurance etc. Do other institutions charge a loan fee and if so how do you arrive at a price? I would appreciate any comments or suggestions, and if anyone has a Loan Policy they would be willing to share that would be great.
