Hi Ellen, I suggest The London Dungeon, if you've not yet had a chance. It is located near (100 meters from) London Bridge station --in deep, dark tunnels. It is a museum about dungeons/prisons and enforcement/torture throughout British history with some rather ghoulish displays. The reality is so much more fascinating and horrifying than that which Stephen King and Clive Barker dream up! Check out their web site at: http://www.thedungeons.com/ (Then click on "Information" and/or "The London Dungeon") For cheap eats, try the restaurants of Panton Street. Have a great trip! ;-) Sincerely, Jay Heuman, Visitor & Volunteer Services Coordinator Joslyn Art Museum, 2200 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE, 68102 342-3300 (telephone) 342-2376 (fax) www.joslyn.org
