Dear Museum Group
I am new to this list so I would like to take this moment to introduce
myself
to the members.
I am Mr. Nicola Linza. I am 38 years old and live in Palm Beach, Florida.
I am a director and consultant [college trained in art design and
architecture
with a minor in international political science.] I am involved in a number
of
cultural management activities including documentary production, art grant
panels
and fund-raising to special project committee chairmanship. I have a long
history
in the field of cultural security and working closely with foreign cultural
affairs
divisions and art institutions here in the United States and abroad.
I was raised around the issues of security [father was a security
executive,]
emergency-management, disaster recovery and response which has strongly
influenced me and my career in the arts. In California prior to my college
career
while working as a data communications specialist and security analyst I
formed
a group called Cultural Disaster Protection. I still run this group
and its focus has
become a professional focus to my career with a discussion group to address
these
issues called CDP - Cultural Disaster Protection which I moderate on
Yahoo.
I am pleased to have found the Museum list. I look forward to
getting to know everyone.
Best regards,
Nicola Linza
CDP -
Cultural Disaster Protection supporting cultural disaster
prevention,
response, and recovery. Discuss the handling of potential problem
situations,
taking of steps to a successful security program, setting museum
and gallery
security and recovery policies, outlining management support and
staff
training, law enforcement cooperation, internal threat, and procedures
for
inventory control, disaster prevention, response, and recovery.
It's free to join.
