The University of Missouri-Columbia's Museum of Anthropology and the Western Historical Manuscripts Collection announce the opening of an exciting online exhibit: Hezzie Goes to War: World War I through the Eyes of a Mid-Missourian (http://coas.missouri.edu/anthromuseum/pattrickwwi). In 1917, John Hezekiah ("Hezzie") Pattrick, an MU alumnus and Higbee, Missouri, native, sailed with General Pershing to France in the first wave of Americans. This online exhibit presents objects and documentary materials related to Pattrick's service in France during World War I, telling his story through his letters to his parents. This exhibit is made possible through the generosity of Mrs. Elizabeth Pattrick Mackenzie, Pattrick's daughter. -- Mary French Associate Museum Curator Museum of Anthropology 104 Swallow Hall University of Missouri Columbia, MO 65201 http://coas.missouri.edu/anthromuseum ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
