Since September 11, many school districts have changed their field trip-taking policies. More museum educators are being faced with the challenge of adapting museum-based programming for the classroom. How do we meet the needs of our school partners, while maintaining our program goals and meeting our institutional missions? To address this challenge NYCMER invites you to: a practicum for museum educators Wednesday, October 24, 2001 6:00pm - 7:30pm at The Museum of the City of New York Fifth Avenue and 103rd Street Rebecca Krucoff, Curator of Education at the Brooklyn Historical Society, and former NYC Museum School teacher, will facilitate this practicum on the issues facing museum educators as they adapt their core programs for use in the schools.
