I am glad to hear that things are picking up again in Atlanta. But at my museum in New York City -- attendence is pitiful -- even for this time of year. There are little tourists on the street -- and my museum just laid off employees for the first time. Things were tight before September 11, but the tradegy HAS had a huge impact on our budget.  I'd be curious to hear from others in NY or Washington on what their attendence is like and how their museums are coping, budget-wise since September 11.
