Hello, I've been told by textile consultants and conservators that JoAnne's (yes, the craft store)regular old polyfill (like for pillows, etc.) is just fine to use. I use it to stuff mannequins and pad out clothing - Ginger Sweeney Curatorial Assistant Strong Museum -----Original Message----- From: Anne Lane [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Wednesday, August 29, 2001 12:14 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Polyester Fiberfill Source? Hello, all you wonderful ones - Can anyone quickly lay hands on a source for archivally acceptable polyester fiberfill, a la University Products but without the amazing price tag? And while I have your attention, how about a source for so-called archival glue sticks, which the aforementioned company also supplies at an amazingly high price? We are in the Southeastern United States, but anywhere in the US would do. Many thanks in advance, Anne Anne T.
