Florida Museum of Natural History at Gainesville, FL uses university students to
help design exhibit components. Your thesis sounds very interesting, I am
trying to persuade our exhibits department head to recruit university design
students. However, they are college age, not youth. Hope it
helps.
I'm a Museum Studies graduate
student writing my thesis on exhibition design programs for youth in
museums. I only know of a few museums that are offereing programs of this
nature presently. If you know of any museums which are working with or
allowing young people to use their facilities to design exhibits, please let me
know as I would like to send them a survey regarding
their program.
