Please excuse any cross posting, but I want to express my appreciation
for the help many people gave me concerning public relations committee
responsibilities.

The committee did not meet until Tuesday night, but I had forwarded your
ideas to the committee chairman. We discussed the ideas Saturday.

The group agreed to three activites Tuesday and the board ratified their
ideas yesterday:

        a) I am to reprint with slight modifications 2000 copies a brochure I
developed two years ago.

        b) I am to continue editing the quarterly newsletter I developed 2 years
ago (under the supervision/approval of the PR Committee)

        c) we will renew our web address "upshurmuseum.org" and I am to get the
pages designed for it.

Now at least our PR Committee has an idea as to what it is trying to
accomplish. They also have a piece of a sense of mission thanks to the
chairman. First the neighborhood, next the world! One definition of a
committee at a time.
Thanks-Gracias-Danke!
