Hi- i put this question to the list some time ago as well... I discovered the distance learning program at Leicester University and have since enrolled. Their program mirrors their on-site MA degree with the exception that it is spaced out over two years to allow working students some flexibility. The program is comprehensive- it is structured around learning modules that cover: collection management, theory, education etc. I also asked around about the program and have received nothing but positive responses! You can check out their web site at: www.le.ac.uk/museumstudies/ hope this helps!
