18th Annual Dupont-Kalorama Museum Walk Weekend Saturday, June 2, 10am - 4pm and Sunday, June 3, 2001 1pm - 5pm Washington, DC The Dupont Kalorama Museums Consortium (DKMC) will sponsor a weekend of local museum exploration with the Annual Museum Walk Weekend 10am - 4pm Saturday, June 2 and 1pm - 5pm Sunday, June 3, 2001. Since 1983, this family festival has drawn thousands to Washington's "Off the Mall" museums for a variety of free activities for all ages. Held in conjunction with the DC Heritage Neighborhood Day. Sponsored by Museums Magazine. The following sites will be open free of charge: B'nai B'rith Klutznick National Jewish Museum Historical Society of Washington, DC Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site Meridian International Center National Museum of American Jewish Military History The Phillips Collection Society of the Cincinnati Museum at Anderson House The Textile Museum Woodrow Wilson House Activities include children's art projects, a treasure hunt, sheep shearing demonstrations, live music and more!!
