You might want to look through past issues of eSpectra, the Museum Computer Network's online portal for cultural heritage information management professionals. eSpectra is a portal compilation of pointers to articles highlighting issues of importance to that community. The links are a mix of media articles, white papers, and online resources, and not generally papers such as those from Museum and the Web, which are already compiled in a single useful site. Every month's issue has a section on "Technology in the Museum," and I would think that some of the articles that I've included pointers to in the past would be what you're looking for. It's available at http://www.mcn.edu/espectra/ You can review the current month's pointers to articles as well as those available through the archives, going back to April 1999.
