Jarrod, Funny that you mention book boxes. For my personal collection I have just acquired a dozen boxes from two sources, one of which may lead to a solution for you... one was from Vanderbilt University's library. They were phasing out some book boxes, and I was quite happy to relieve them of the burden of storing them. So, have you consulted large lending libraries in your area for where they may procure boxes for their folio volumes? Bowdoin and University of Maine seem possible leads. Happy hunting! Ware L.W.S. Light Impressions carries various sizes of flat storage boxes, several of which are large enough for what you ask. However, should you like to look further, there are a couple of suppliers you didn't mention: Metal Edge is great for storage products. www.metaledgeinc.com 800-862-2228 Demco also carries flat archival boxes, and they're cheap. www.demco.com 800-356-1200 Brodart doesn't have the best selection, but always helps to shop around. www.brodart.com 888-820-4377 Oh, looking in my UP catalog I see these "phase boxes." I think you may have to settle for plain flat storage boxes. If they are too deep for your books, I recommend getting some extra archival board and cutting it to lie under the book, raising it's top to the lid of the box; that is, if you want to stack anything on top.
