When RIT moved to the new campus in 1968, we had a new beautiful
library, who's windows opened. By 70 when I graduated the windows were
sealed to prevent students tossing books out them, to retrieve later.
Now they have all the books with the detection strips in them and a
security system that most airports would die for. The even give free
coping and the books and periodicals still get articles cut out of them.
        This has been a 30 plus year battle, with no sign of it ending soon.
