Accredited art museum with budget of just under $1 million seeks two experienced individuals. 

The Museum: Now in its 52nd year of operation, the South Bend Regional Museum of Art is the public art museum for the greater South Bend area. The Museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums and occupies almost 40,000 square feet in South Bend, Indiana’s Century Center, a cultural/convention complex designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee. 

Collections, exhibitions and education programs focus on contemporary and historical American art, especially from the Midwestern region. Exhibitions are featured year-round in four changing galleries and the Permanent Collection Gallery. Classes for adults and children are offered in all media. Other programs include: outreach partnerships, lectures, workshops, school tours, in-school programs, special events and participatory experiences, both in the galleries and in the community.



Curator of Education/Public Programs

Manages and implements school programs, docent/tour program, outreach and in-gallery education. Reports to Chief Curator/Program Director. Competitive salary and benefits. Manager of Classroom Programs/Preparator

Responsible for the in-house classroom program. This includes hiring and supervising teachers, developing curriculum, preparing class listings and managing all details of the daily operations of the program.
