Job Opening - Registrar
The Nantucket [Massachusetts] Historical
Association invites applications for the position of Registrar.
Responsibilities include: documenting, cataloguing, and organizing objects in
the Association's collection; processing gifts and loans; participating in the
research and installation of exhibitions; preparing the collection for, and
assisting with, the building of a new museum center. Candidates should
possess a B.A. in a related field, knowledge of computer database programs, and
excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Museum experience and
understanding of collections management standards desired. Please send
