Deborah, We have a pair of hand grips that we use to handle plate glass and plexiglas panels and they work great. They are from Woods Powr Grip, 229 Cascade, Wolf Point, Montana 59201. I just checked & they have a website at www.powrgrip.com. Ron Twellman, Collections Manager EAA AirVenture Museum P.O. I'd estimate this lid weighs about 70-80 pounds. It takes at least four of us to control it (we have to lift it over our heads given the back wall of the case) without any tools to help. Yesterday, two of us nearly had finger injuries, so we definitely want to find a better solution for holding onto it. Thanks. Deborah -- Dr. Deborah J.
