I think this was discussed within the last year or so...something about a
museum trying to justify its existence by showing its economic impact on the
community. Does anyone remember the string name? You can try searching the
list archives at http:[log in to unmask]

Subject: Help with museum statistics

I will soon make a case to the City Council for a gift of land and would
like to support my presentation with museum statistics.

Information such as the number of visitors to museums versus sporting
events; the number of adult museum visitors for each child; and so forth.
Any information that supports the concept of establishing a museum is
requested.

You can contact me off list.

Thanks, Victoria
