The Smoky Hill Museum seeks an experienced, creative Curator of Exhibits.
Museum is located in Salina, Kansas--a cultural and regional center of
50,000, with recently completed $1,000,000 building renovation.
Responsibilities include designing, fabricating, and installing major and
temporary exhibits; designing and producing graphics and promotional
materials; and administering planning and management of projects and
budgets. Must have excellent oral and written communications skills; be a
team player with an appreciation of the Museum as an integral part of a
progressive cultural community; and demonstrate a working knowledge of
exhibit design, fabrication techniques, and computer graphics.
Qualifications:  B.A. in history, museum studies, design, or related field,
M.A. preferred with three years' experience in graphic design, exhibition,
and project management.  Salary range:  $24,814 to 32,344 with excellent
