Barbara: we are a moderate-sized museum that interprets NC history (Tryon Palace Historic Sites & Gardens). We contracted with a design firm to design the site (www.tryonpalace.org) and do most of the weekly maintenance in-house (by me) using Front Page. The web-site designer gave me and a couple of other people lessons on updating the site and that has stood me in reasonably good stead. I wish that I had a little more web knowledge to work from, though, because figuring out solutions to problems is time consuming and I often feel as though I am re-inventing the wheel. I did have a class in HTML a couple of years ago, but it isn't particularly useful to me now. It takes me 1-4 hours a week to update--sometimes longer when I have technical problems logging on or everything is taking forever to down and upload. Good Luck, Priscilla ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
