This is a new, permanent federal civil service position, in the technical information specialist classification (series 1412). This position is being recruited at the GS-12 level, with salary range (2000) starting at $51,204. The recruitment is open through July 18, 2000. The primary duties are to serve as manager for HMD's Digital Manuscripts Program, which is digitizing the personal papers of prominent biomedical scientists and mounting them on the World Wide Web.
