Director of Marketing and Public Relations Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership is a full-service architectural design and museum services firm based in New York, NY. Since 1980, LHSA+DP has provided award-winning architecture and exhibit design services to public institutions, corporations, and private individuals and is nationally regarded for its ground-breaking approach to both design and education. The firm seeks an energetic, independent, self-motivated individual with superb communication skills (both written and verbal) and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with the press. Experience representing architecture and design clients is preferred. Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint is a must; proficiency in HTML, Quark Excel and Adobe GoLive! Responsibilities New Business Development · Develop strategies, objectives, and review processes for new business · Seek new business Monitor publications, online museum forums, architecture press, other media outlets Follow-up and track leads generated by principals and other staff Assess incoming RFPs with consideration for firm's growth strategy and identity · Develop, write and produce complete Proposals and Qualifications Packages · Develop, write and produce new business presentations and support material · Promote firm accomplishments to mailing list, targeted markets, and general public · Research award programs and prepare submissions · Expand and maintain up-to-date, cross-tabbed general mailing list · Develop and monitor annual RP and Marketing budget · Implement and maintain firm-wide graphics standards Press and Public Relations · Maintain and expand up-to-date web site (including new content development) · Increase web site visitation through search engines, hyperlinks and other site promotion · Identify and maintain relationships with local, national and international press · Develop, produce, and deliver story pitches to local, national and international press · Serve as primary media contact; respond to incoming press inquiries · Track press coverage and maintain press archives · Maintain on-going postcard campaign · Expand and maintain press database · Maintain slide and digital image archives · Conduct on-going review and up-to-date file of photographers and illustrators · Art direct photo shoots of completed project · Negotiate photography contracts and manage usage agreements To inquire, contact: Jo Ann Secor Principal and Director of Museum Services 212-989-2624 [log in to unmask] John J.
