Assistant Curator for Education

The University of Michigan Museum of Art seeks an experienced museum
educator to assist in developing, implementing and evaluating
education programs for university, school and community audiences.
The Assistant Curator will work with the Curator for Education,
curatorial staff, faculty and community members on public programs
including adult and family programming, teacher programs and
technology projects.  Responsibilities also include docent
recruitment, training and evaluation. Significant experience in two
or more of these areas is preferred. This is a new position in a
dynamic and growing institution.  Qualifications: B.A. required, M.A.
preferred in History of Art or field(s) related to art and museum
education.  Three to five years of museum experience or comparable
relevant job experience is required.  Experience working in a
university setting is desirable.   AA/EOE.
