Summer Internship – Collection Intern and Interpreter · Application deadline –April 30, 2000 · Notification deadline - on or before May 12, 2000 · Dates of internship – June 5 to August 25 · Payment - $900 per month · 2 positions available · Vehicle helpful, but not necessary Qualifications: Background in museum studies preferred, but not required. Strong interest in collections helpful. Basic computer experience necessary. Strong attention to detail a must. Duties: The collection internship entails data entry utilizing PastPerfect software, scanning of photographs, and inventory reconciliation. Interns will be able to choose between several different projects involving images and/or artifacts. In addition, two days a week will be spent interpreting the Ashcroft Ghost Town. Housing: Housing options are available for the summer months, close to town and museum.
