I may have some things from Congo taken around 1900 that would work for you.
They are very old prints. I will get back to you.

I'm working on a project with the Cincinnati Art Museum and we are
looking for sources for still and video images of indigenous African
cultures (all regions of the continent) at the turn of the century (I
guess that term is getting outdated, ;-) I mean late 1800s to early
1900s).  Since every budget is tight, ideas about sources of free to
cheap images would be especially appreciated.  Thanks!
