I don't know about that, it would just increase the times I have to read and delete things. Hmmmm. I guess if we are interested in an answer that might have an off-list reply, then pipe up and ask, "whatever happened.....?" I've noticed museum-l'ers usually do pipe up when they want to see the reply on-list. Usually I just reply directly to them so as not to bog down the list. Also, even though it's not a big deal, I have to come back and "OK" my sent message, so instead of getting the one I want to reply to, it just comes back at me again to confirm, and sometimes I can't get back to my "messages" until two days later or even more (installations, vacations, etc.). However, I do like the confirmation feature. But then my answer is probably too late for someone. Oh Dear! I'm sure we'll figure it out.
