This is a bit off the normal discussion on the list here, but has anyone dealt with a chili cookoff as a fund raiser?...Our support group is interested in hosting one this year as a fund raiser and community get-together (we definitely can use all the community interest we can get). This will not be a sanctioned event or anything elaborate, but hopefully a fun time for the whole community. Any ideas of how in this day an age of safety issues to go about tastings and sponsoring of such a critter? If you have had this experience, good or bad, let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
