MUSEUM DIRECTOR
A museum of funeral history,
scheduled to open during the summer of 2000, seeks an administrator who is a
team player to assist with the refinement and the implementation of an
institutional vision. This unique facility offers an opportunity to assist
with the creation and development of a nationally recognized facility.
Responsibilities include supervision of staff and volunteers; development of
publications, educational programming, a mobile museum, and a friends' group;
preparation of the annual budget; and coordination of fundraising and marketing
activities. Qualifications: MA historical administration, history, or
American studies, plus three to five years of proven experience. strong
oral and written communications skills are essential. Computer literacy
necessary. Salary: $31,000 to $35,000 plus benefits. Send resume and
