The New Zealand National Maritime Museum is seeking an experienced Educator to take charge of its educational activities ranging from schools education (the Museum has a current LEOTC contract) to public programmes and community events. This interpretative role offers stimulating variety in a unique environment and requires a person with experience and skills. These include extremely good organisational ability, excellent communication skills, and a sound knowledge of the national curriculum. We envisage that the candidate will have teaching experience, or have held a similar position in another museum, and have a passion for things maritime. A current driving licence is essential.
