I'm not a professional source, but what I've
gleaned from a few resources is that Mr. Gilman was a prominent figure in
museology and does have some books published. Below is one of them.
Benjamin Ives Gilman, Museum Ideals of Purpose
and Method, (Cambridge, 1923.)
