Here at the San Jose Museum of Art we have offered a teacher workshop on architecture(with a teacher resource book) and we also offer an architecture tour for K-12 students. To put together these programs and teaching materials I used a number of really good resources such as the Architecture Education Resource Center, in Franklin, MA http://www.norfolk-county.com/aerc), the Foundation for Architecture, in Philadelphia (http://www.whyy.org/aie/aie.html), and the Center for Understanding the Built Environment, in Kansas (http://www.webcom.com/~pcj/cube.html). The Chicago Architecture Foundation also has some great programs for kids as well. I have a great list of resources that includes books for teachers and for kids, web sites and other resources that I'll be glad to send to you if you're interested. Thanks! There is a great deal of Victorian architecture here, so I want to focus on Queen Anne style, etc. I also would like the program to be as hands-on as possible. Does anyone know of any kids architecture programs or other resources that might be helpful? Thanks, Kimi Bensen ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
