     Lisa:

Our Registrar and our Eastern Regional Supervisor of
historic sites have both completed MA degrees in
Liberal Studies with a museum emphasis at the
University of Oklahoma recently. This course appears
designed for active, working museum professionals, and
involves on campus seminars of, as I recall, a six week
duration, combined with course work designed to be
completed at one's home or work site. You might want
to check that program out, as it seemed quite useful -
we allowed professional development time for the
Registrar to complete his work, and helped with the on
campus costs, too. I think it was a worthwhile
     investment for us.
