Hi Mario,

I'm involved in a Museum Studies program at Macquarie University in
Sydney, Australia. Blogs are a great means of keeping in touch with
students to share experiences particularly during travel to
conferences.

The first one we tried when myself and a student travelled to the ICOM
meeting in Korea in 2004. Its just a basic text stream of conciousness
that reads in reverse chronological order using existing server
software. It is still on our server at:-

http://www.els.mq.edu.au/korea.html

Got a bit smarter last year when I was invited to a palaeontology
conference in Brazil to talk about museums and curatorship and did a web
diary (with design help from home) so we could include pics as well,
it's at:-

http://www.es.mq.edu.au/brazil/

When our students undertake our professional experience unit in our
postgrad program we are encouraging the more web savvy ones among them
to develop a blog to also share the experience with other students
(don't have any current examples as we are between semesters in Oz).

Cheers

Andrew
