I am using PP to catalog a small permanent collection by a single
artist. I have access to a number of works by the same artist that are
not part of our permanent collection but that belong to private
collections. Many of the privately owned pieces are related to pieces
from our own collection. Can anyone recommend a logical way to include
detailed information about these objects in our own catalog so that we
can take advantage of the "Related Objects" field? Would it make sense
to create a unique "accession number" particular to the privately owned
objects only?

Thank you,

Allyson Melchor
